About this Piano
Kawai GM-2 Baby Grand. The Kawai GM-2 is a compact baby grand of about five feet, built to give a home or studio real grand-piano sound without taking over the room. It was the predecessor to Kawai's current GL-10. It uses Kawai's Ultra Responsive ABS action, a composite action that holds its regulation better than all-wood actions as humidity changes, and it repeats quickly under the fingers. Its tone is smooth and singing, with more richness than you'd expect from a piano this size. That makes it a good pick for a student moving up from an upright, or for anyone who wants a quality Japanese grand at an approachable price.

Questions about this piano
Is the Kawai GM2 in stock?
Yes — the Kawai GM2 is on the floor at our Colleyville, TX showroom and you are welcome to play it before you buy. Call ahead if you want time with it uninterrupted.
What does certified pre-owned mean for the Kawai GM2?
Every pre-owned piano we sell is inspected by our own technicians before it reaches the floor — structure and soundboard, action and voicing, cabinet and finish, and tuning stability. Anything that needs work is repaired or regulated first, and we will tell you exactly what was done to this instrument and what its history is. Nothing goes out on an "as-is" basis.
Do you deliver the Kawai GM2 around Dallas–Fort Worth?
Yes. We deliver throughout the DFW metroplex — Dallas, Fort Worth, Southlake, Grapevine, Keller and nearby — from our Colleyville, TX showroom, and the first tuning in your home is included.
